According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Denver Broncos have signed former Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon to a two-year, $16 million dollar deal with $13.5 million in guaranteed money.
Gordon is a 26-year old running back who is entering his sixth season in the NFL. He spent his first five-seasons in the NFL with the rival Los Angeles Chargers.
Melvin Gordon played his college ball at Wisconsin and played a total of four seasons there for them. During his four-seasons at Wisconsin, Gordon totaled 4,915 yards rushing, 45 rushing touchdowns, and a 7.8 yards per carry. This college career by Gordon helped him become a first-round pick for the then San Diego Chargers back in the 2015 NFL Draft.
