In arguably the game of the 2019 NFL season so far, the San Francisco 49ers prevailed over the New Orleans Saints on a last-second field goal set up by a monster run from tight end George Kittle.
The 49ers defense gave up a touchdown to New Orleans with 53 seconds left to fall behind 46-45, but stopped the Saints on the two-point conversion to give their offense a chance for a game-winning field goal. (READ MORE) by Eric Ting | SFGATE
San Francisco ascends back to the #1 seed slot after narrowly conquering New Orleans 48-46 in one of the most entertaining NFL games this season. New Orleans squandered a thrilling offensive comeback drive from QB Drew Brees, WR Michael Thomas, and WR Tre’Quan Smith who scored with 53 seconds left in the game. When the Saints needed their future Hall of Fame leader, Brees, to deliver a go-ahead drive, he did.
