The Houston Texans are reportedly working out veteran RB C.J. Anderson today.
Last year, the Los Angeles Rams made their Super Bowl run because of Anderson’s heroics on the ground. Anderson had 16 carries for 43 rushing yards in two games with the Detroit Lions this season. He was released prior to the team’s third game of the season.
The Texans lost Lamar Miller in the preseason to a season-ending knee injury. The front office made a trade for Carlos Hyde. Prior to the trade for Hyde, the Texans acquired Duke Johnson from the Cleveland Browns for a 2020 fourth-round pick.
Anderson can be an added piece to help the Texans offense.
