Because of staggered expiring terms, six new members will be joining the 13-person committee. Among them are three athletic directors in Oklahoma’s Joe Castiglione, Florida’s Scott Stricklin and Georgia Tech’s Todd Stansbury; former USC standout Ronnie Lott; former coach Ken Hatfield; and former sports columnist Paola Boivin. Oregon AD Rob Mullens replaces Texas Tech counterpart Kirby Hocutt as the chairman of the committee. By
